PARKDALE ROADRUNNERS PRESENT: THE NUIT BLANCHE 10K SCRAMBLE

The Parkdale Roadrunners are lighting up the evening streets during Toronto’s massive dusk-to-dawn art party on October 5, 2013. The Nuit Blanche 10K Scramble will feature 75 of the city’s most passionate (and crazy) runners on an approximate 10-kilometer urban route that will test their stamina, savvy and ability to maneuver streets and sidewalks swarming with weekend art warriors and their strollers, dogs, steaming-hot coffees and more…
Runners will receive a list of exhibits (delivered moments before the race via Instagram, @nuitblanche10kscramble) and a Nuit Blanche guide to use as they navigate the demanding course. Runners will post photos of the exhibits on Instagram to check-in at each checkpoint along their chosen route. As runners will be wearing reflective clothing designed for night running, they are sure to add a spontaneous visual spectacle for the thousands of attendees at Scotiabank Nuit Blanche.

Runners will meet at 8:30 p.m. at The Mascot Café (1267 Queen St. West) and the race will begin promptly at 9:30 p.m. The top 3 finishers will each receive a prize package from sponsor NIKE, and all finishers will be awarded a commemorative ribbon.
The hashtag for this event is #NB10KSCRAMBLE. We encourage participants and observers to use this hashtag to document their night on Instagram
and Twitter.
Registration for this event opened on September 20th and reached capacity on September 24th
