Built in 1830, Montgomery’s Inn was once part of a 400-acre farm which supplied food for the Montgomery family, guests of the Inn and for retail sale. Much of this land continued to be farmed by tenant farmers through the 1940s. Though the farm is long gone, the Inn remains and has been restored as a museum. Today we celebrate the Inn’s agricultural roots by once again offering farm-fresh produce for sale at the Montgomery’s Inn Farmers’ Market.
Our vendors sell local and organic veggies, fruit, meat, cheese, eggs, honey, preserves, baked goods, fresh bread and prepared foods that you can take home or enjoy on the premises. Enjoy live music in our new picnic area.

On 30 June 2020, Toronto City Council voted to make wearing non-medical masks or face coverings mandatory in indoor spaces. This by-law will come into effect on Tuesday 7 July 2020. Anyone entering
your business (both customers and staff) will have to wear a mask or face covering or be refused entry.
Please join us tomorrow,
Friday 3 July at 2pm, for a free webinar to learn more about the by-law, what it means for your business, how to comply, enforcement, and how you can help keep everyone in Toronto safer during the COVID-19 pandemic. Register here:
This webinar will be delivered by Dr. Vinita Dubey, an Associate Medical Officer of Health with Toronto Public Health, with support from the Economic Development and Culture Division.
This webinar is intended to convey municipal government requirements at time of writing on wearing masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. These requirements may change as the situation changes;
please visit https://www.toronto.ca/COVID19/ for the latest information.
If time allows, we will answer live questions during this webinar. If you have a question, please post it in the question or chat box; we will not take voice questions due to the high levels
of background noise from unmuting attendees' microphones. For complex questions or questions that we don't have time for, we will answer them collectively by e-mail after the webinar.
As well, please visit our
COVID-19: Business & Sector Resources for more information about programs to help your business. Also, the City’s BusinessTO
Support Centre is available to help businesses respond to COVID-19 with a focus on completing applications for government assistance programs and providing business advice. Get started by scheduling a one-on-one
meeting or register for an introductory webinar .
Thank you.
Thank you.

Early Community Impact Response to COVID‑19
Shortly after COVID‑19 was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization in March, Allstate Canada donated $20,000 to COVID‑19 research and preparedness initiatives to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Additionally, Allstate employees each received $20 from The Allstate Foundation of Canada to donate to causes that matter to them, which resulted in more than 200 employees donating over $4,000 to Sunnybrook’s project as well as food bank associations in Ontario, Alberta, Quebec, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. |

Yvan Baker, MP "Our seniors need us now more than ever.
My office has been receiving calls and emails asking about grocery delivery options for seniors, especially low-income seniors, so that they don’t have to leave their homes and worry about putting their health at risk.
A group of volunteers has banded together to lend a neighbourly hand to low-income seniors. And they can help out in Etobicoke Centre!
The UHN OpenLab’s Friendly Neighbour Hotline can help low-income seniors by picking up groceries, household essentials and food bank items during this difficult time.
Over 1,100 volunteers have stepped forward to join the Hotline and aid our seniors living in low-income housing across Toronto.
To engage this service, you can:
1. Call the toll-free hotline, available in multiple languages, at 1-855-581-9580; or
2. Order online with the volunteer service: https://bit.ly/34z1KY0

- Please ensure that all material placed in garbage bins is bagged, specifically cleaning products such as wipes, tissues/napkins and other sanitary/hygiene products.
- Bins should only be placed out for collection if they are full.
