MS Bike Toronto on September 7th, 2014.

To celebrate a future free of MS, the MS Society of Canada will host their annual MS Bike Toronto on September 7th, 2014. Funds raised at the MS Bike are dedicated to supporting groundbreaking, Canadian-led research as well as helping Canadians with MS live better until a cure is found.

On September 7th, 325 cyclists will raise funds and awareness for multiple sclerosis as they ride through some of Toronto's beautiful bike paths and take in the sights of the Humber River. This will be Doug Fortin's 9th year riding in the MS Bike tour in Toronto. He has raised over $35,000 since his first ride in 2006.
Fundraising is an important aspect of the ride for Doug Fortin. He has an incredible support network of family, friends, and coworkers who donate to his ride each year. His wife and 2 daughters further their support by cheering him on at the start and finish line. With the support of participants like Doug, MS Bike Toronto is expected to raise upwards of $200,000.

Through Doug’s inspirational story, we hope to encourage people to ‘gear up’ to end MS. For more information about the MS Bike, North America’s largest cycling series, and the MS Society please visit www.msbike.ca
