– Rdio, one of the largest music streaming services
in the world, joins forces with the Toronto International Film Festival
as its official music partner for the 11-day film fest. The powerhouse
partnership features a free concert by international recording sensation
Ellie Goulding.
Rdio kicks
off the Festival’s opening weekend with a high-octane lineup of local and
international musicians performing free public shows on the Steve and Rashmi
Gupta Family Stage in the Rdio Music Zone at 335 King St. W from September 4 –
7. On Saturday, September 6, Rdio proudly presents triple platinum
singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding live in concert at Toronto’s historic
Massey Hall.

to Rdio presents Ellie Goulding will be made available to the public at
Rdio House (335 King
St. W) and through
surprise social media giveaways starting Thursday, August 28. Fans can
find out how to get their exclusive wristband to see Ellie Goulding by following

#RDIOTIFF.

Rdio’s
interactive presence at the Festival begins on Festival Street with a listening
station near the intersection of Simcoe St. and King St. where fans can check
out music from Rdio’s catalogue of more than 25 million songs. The soul of the
Rdio experience is Rdio House at 335 King St. W, a musical hub for
industry leaders and Festival-goers to relax and recharge with live music,
giveaways, Rdio product demos, and free food and drink right next door to the
Festival’s home base at the TIFF Bell Lightbox. For those who can’t make it to
Toronto for the film fest, TIFF.net will host an Rdio music player
from the festival’s official site, complemented by TIFF-curated playlists
available at Rdio.com.

Music Zone will feature free performances on the Steve and Rashmi Gupta Family
Stage by Absolutely Free, Adrian X, DJ Misty, Elaquent, Jason Collett, John
Kong, Maylee Todd, and Rich Aucoin. Performers co-presented by Festival Music
House include BADBADNOTGOOD, Bobby Bazini, Diana, Eon The Soul Proprieter, and
